HODGES -- Christine Hodges, age 80, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 22, 2005. Christine was a gentle, loving, and always caring mother, grandmother, and friend to all. She will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Vernon Lee Hodges and sister, Annie Lee McRee. She is survived by her son, Vernon Lewis Hodges and wife Gwen of Tyler, TX; son, Gary Hodges of Albuquerque, NM; daughter, Nancy Berch and husband Steve of Albuquerque, NM; and her daughter, Cheryl Manning and husband Nick Baldonado of Placitas, NM. She also leaves behind 13 grandchildren; and eight great-granchhildren. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Sunrise Assisted Living for all the loving and kind care they provided during her last months of life and also to Hospice of New Mexico. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2005 11:00 a.m., at The Chapel of Sunrise Funeral Options 7601 Wyoming NE, ABQ., NM. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2005 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Sunrise Funeral Options.
