GARCIA -- Lauriano Garcia Sr. went home to be with the Lord on March 27, 2005 at the age of 78. He was born on January 18, 1927 in Albuquerque, NM. He is survived by his wife, Alice Garcia of 57 years; sons, Santiago Garcia and wife, Shirley, Mariano Garcia and wife, Dora, Lauriano Garcia Jr. and Heraclio Garcia and wife, Yolanda; daughters, Erinea Baros and husband, Donald Goudy and Isabelle Purcella and husband, Joe; sister, Charolette Salas; 11 grandchildren; nine-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday evening and on Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Garcia Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church. Burial will follow at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Robert Baros, Santiago Garcia Jr., Jesse Purcella Mariano Garcia III, Christopher Garcia, and Heraclio Garcia.
