ROSS -- Msgt. James W. Ross, USAF (Ret.), died Wednesday, March 23, 2005 at his home in Albuquerque. He is survived by his wife of 54 years Doris Ross of Albuquerque and children; Mary Zalmanek and husband Jim of Monument, CO; son, James W. Ross, Jr. and wife Vickie of South Hampton, England; daughter, Connie Barnhill and husband Ross of Albuquerque, NM; five grandchildren; Rhonda and Ryan Barnhill, Sam and Zack Ross, and Shawn Zalmanek; five great-grandchildren; Sebastian Barnhill and Michael Elkins and Marin, Brynn, and Josh Zalmanek; two brothers, Harold Ross and wife Barbara of Virginia and Bill Ross, Jr. and wife Jane of Kentucky; sister, Anne Dulaney and husband Richard of Tennessee. Mr. Ross served in the US Air Force for 26 years until his retirement 1974. He worked for KTech Corporation for 19 years. James was a member of Church of the Risen Savior for many years. He loved spending time with his family, square dancing, traveling, and playing games. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Zia Hospice Memorial Foundation, 4141 Montgomery NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109. A Prayer Vigil will be held at 7:00 p.m., Monday, March 28, 2005 with Deacon Mark Bussemeier officiating, at Church of the Risen Savior, 7701 Wyoming Blvd. NE. Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 29, 2005 at Church of the Risen Savior with Father Dino Candeleria officiating. Ennichement of cremated remains will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 29, 2005 French Mortuary 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE 275-3500
