MCNARY -- Ernestine Pilz McNary, 77 years old, passed away Friday, March 18, 2005 in Albuquerque. Ernestine was born February 25, 1928 in Vienna, Austria to Emil Adolf and Hermine (Impseil) Pilz. After coming to Albuquerque, she met and married Graham McNary on June 5, 1954 at St. Francis Cathedral in Santa Fe. Graham preceded her in death in 1991 after almost 37 years of marriage. Ernestine was a long time member of the Albuquerque Country Club and the Women's Golf Association, Junior League of Albuquerque, and the Las Amapolas Garden Club. She enjoyed golf, skiing, travel, playing bridge, and her many good friends. She is survived by her sons, Curtis Graham McNary and wife, Lisa of Corrales and Clifford Raynolds McNary and wife, Amy of Albuquerque; a brother, Fritz Pilz and wife Juli of Austria; two nephews, Fritz and Peter Pilz of Austria; and three grandchildren, Curtis Graham McNary, Jr., Kiera Jung McNary, and Thailen Park McNary. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. in Palm Chapel of Strong-Thorne Mortuary, Reverend Edwin Shepperson officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to University of New Mexico Children's Hospital and Critical Care Pavilion, 2211 Lomas Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87106.
