HOFROCK -- Marion Eugene Hofrock, 78, a resident of Albuquerque since 1970, died Thursday, March 17, 2005. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy L. Hofrock of Albuquerque; sons, Jerry Hofrock and Billie of Texas, Larry Hofrock of New Mexico, Jim Hofrock and Sandy of California, Jeff Hofrock and Dina of California; daughters, Carolyn Kinsel and husband, Larry of New Mexico, B.J. Winslow and husband, Dennis of California, and Nancy Hofrock of California; grandchildren, Kristy Kinsel, Kelvin Kinsel, Karina Kinsel, Brandon Hofrock, Brianna Hofrock, Josh Winslow, Brian Winslow, Andy Winslow, and Bobby Winslow; brother, Carl Hofrock and wife, Zelma of Kansas; and sister, Betty Lewis and husband, Thomas of Missouri. After 30 years of self-employment in Potter, Sidney, and Kimball, NE the family moved to Albuquerque in 1970. He worked at Wards and Penny's in the appliances and furniture departments. Mr. Hofrock retired in 1985. He enjoyed rock hunting, climbing, taking his dogs for walks, and keeping his trees looking good. Memorial Services will be held Tuesday, March 22, 2005, 10:00 a.m., at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE. Ennichement of cremated remains will follow.
