BENSON -- Donald E., 75, passed away at home March 19, 2005. He was preceded in death by his parents, E.W. and Ruby Benson, and brother, David. He is survived by his wife, Alice of 56 years of marriage; sister, Sylvia Schrumpf; and brothers, Ernie and Jan Benson. Also many nieces and nephews, and children, Connie D' Agostino, Janet Benson, Jim Benson and Kelly Benson. Three grandchildren: Andrea, Marisa and Morgan Benson. Don graduated from Wheaton College, Fuller Theological Seminary and went with his wife to the Philippines for 15 years as a church-planter. Then he pastured three churches in Albuquerque, retiring in December 2003. His lifetime desire was to share Jesus Christ with as many people as possible. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, March 21, 2005, 2 p.m. at the Church of Albuquerque 3021 Todos Santos NW with Rev. David Crosby officiating.
