HERRERA -- Emma O. Herrera, age 77, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2005 in Albuquerque. A resident of Los Angeles for 20 years, she moved back home to Albuquerque in 1987. Emma loved sewing, quilting, and making blankets. She is survived by her son, Albert E. Lopez and wife, Rita of Santa Barbara, CA; brother, Pat F. Trujillo and wife, Trinnie of Albuquerque; two sisters, Florence Escarcida and husband, Victor, Helen Trujillo-Cavalier and husband, Tom, all of Albuquerque; three granddaughters, which she loved dearly, Amanda, Deanna, and Rian; many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who loved and will miss her. Memorial Services will be held at San Jose de Duranes Mission, 2110 Los Luceros Rd., with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, March 11, 2005. Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 12, 2005 at 4:15 p.m. A reception will follow the Mass at the Parish Hall. The family would like to thank Princeton Place Nursing Center Unit 4 Staff, and Zia Hospice for their loving care and compassion for Emma and her family during these difficult times.
