WILLIAMS -- Edward. Like the sands of an hour glass as it will for all of us, time slipped away for Edward on March 5, 2005. Edward Williams was born February 7, 1935, in Ingalls, AR, to Quinnie and Lula Williams. Quinnie preceded him in death; his mother, Lula Williams Atkins presently resides in Crossett, AR. Edward, some knew him as "Tutt" and some knew him as "Kimo," moved to Hobbs, NM, in the early sixties where he met and married Lois Lorene Berry, his loving wife of 41 years. Edward was a very caring and dedicated man, and this attribute touched many lives. He retired from Albuquerque Metal Company last year after 35 years as a crane operator. He is survived by his wife; five sisters, Amy Jean Johnson and Ethel Dean Williams of Crossett, AR, Fannie Bell Sedberry of Huttig, AR, Patricia Harris of Dallas, TX, and Susan Ford of Orlando, FL; four brothers, Phil Williams of Crossett, AR, Alma Williams, John Williams, and Alfred Freeman of Dallas, TX; five daughters, Sonya Singletary, Cara Butler, and Dana Weathers of Albuquerque, Mary Ann and Elizabeth Ann of Crossett AR; three sons-in law, Andrae Singletary, Daryl Butler, Sr., and Eric Weathers; one grandson-in-law, Andrae of Dallas; two granddaughters, Shaunai Dallas and Cherisse Barry; three grandsons, Daryl Edward Butler, Jr., Christopher Weathers, and Donovan Weathers; two great-grandchildren, Darian and Naudia Dallas, all of Albuquerque. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Jefferson and Joseph Williams. He also leaves to mourn many other relatives and friends. Edward was so deeply loved and cherished. He will live in our hearts forever. Scripture: And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7. Services will be held Friday, March 11, 2005, 11:00 a.m., at Joy Light Church of God in Christ, located at 409 Santa Fe Ave. SE, with Pastor Claude L. Bell officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 11, 2005, at 10:00 a.m. Arrangements by Sunrise Funeral Options, 7601 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 821-0010.
