MARTINEZ -- Robert R. Mr. Robert R. "Bobby" Martinez, age 49 of Albuquerque, passed away Tuesday March 8, 2005 at a local hospital. He was born February 16, 1956 in Albuquerque, the son of David and Mary Martinez. He married Margaret Vega on March 13, 1992. He is survived by his wife of 12 years Margaret, his children; Brian and wife, Gloria Martinez, Jason Martinez, Louis and wife, Felicia Colon, Nina and husband, Jonathan Griffin, Stacy Vazquez, all of Albuquerque; eight grandchildren; Santiago, Evalisse, Jarrod, Haley, Luisito, Mekenna, Elijah, Jacob; sisters, Ruby and husband, Victor Rodriguez, Diana and husband, Rudy Chavez, all of Albuquerque; mother-in-law, Jennie Guillen of New York. He was preceded in death by his father, David Martinez. Robert was currently employed by AUI,. Inc. He enjoyed fishing, restoring classic cars and trucks, woodworking, was an avid collector of logo caps, and a devoted Eagles Fan. Memorial Services for Mr. Martinez will be held Friday March 11, 2005 at 6:00 p.m. at French Mortuary Westside Chapel. Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 p.m. until the time of Service.
