TAYLOR -- Arlene Fay Taylor was born on November 15, 1928 in Lamesa, Texas and passed away on March 2, 2005 in Ruidoso, New Mexico at the age of 76 after a long illness. She was married to Warren D. Taylor on October 13, 1948 in Alpine, Texas and their marriage spanned some 25 years until her husband preceded her in death on February 3, 1974. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Jodi Taylor of Capitan, NM and Alan and Dee Ann Taylor of Rio Rancho, NM; as well as two brothers, C.R. Cook of Bakersfield, CA and Roy Cook of New Jersey, along with nieces, Gay Yates of Mayhill, NM, Sherry Tulk of Hope, NM and Bonnie Glenn of Ruidoso Downs, along with numerous other nieces and nephews as well as numerous good friends, some of whom have known her for many years. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 5, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at La Grone Funeral Home, 341 Sudderth Drive, Ruidoso, NM with Alan Taylor officiating. The family is requesting that in lieu of flowers, donations should be made to the Lincoln County Animal Shelter.
