LOPEZ -- Frank "Kiko" Lopez, 89, was called home February 18, 2005. Frank was born in Duran, NM, January 29, 1916 to Vidal and Euginia Lopez and is preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Emelia Lopez; children Celina, Robert, and Gilbert Lopez; grandchild, Joseph Lopez; brother Pedro Lopez; sisters, Casimira Hijar, Mary Ortega, and Margarita Sanchez. He is survived by his children, Frank Lopez Jr. and wife Nancy, Armando Lopez, Joe Lopez and wife Joyce, Irvin Lopez and wife Dianna, and Danny Lopez; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. A Viewing will be held on Monday, February 21, 2005 at Salazar & Sons Mortuary from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The Rosary will be recited following the viewing at 7:00 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. John the Baptist Church in Duran, NM at 11:00 a.m. on February 22, 2005, interment will follow at Duran NM Cemetery.
