MERRITT -- Ardist Merritt, 58, a resident of Albuquerque, died Monday, February 14, 2005. She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Mike Merritt of Albuquerque; children, Dawn M. Pickett and husband, James of Marquette, MI, Scott M. Merritt of Rio Rancho, Tina Sanchez and husband, Paul of Albuquerque, and Angela Sanchez and husband, John of Los Lunas; 13 grandchildren; mother, Jesusita Stauffer; sisters, Ardell Stauffer of Albuquerque, Karen Martinez and husband, David of Austin, TX, Arva Stauffer and Shirley Stauffer; and brother, Rodger Stauffer, all of Lowell, MI. Mrs. Merritt worked for many years at the Family Thrift Center. Rosary will be recited Wednesday, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel. Services will be held Thursday, 10:30 a.m., at Church of Our Savior, 2805 Don Felipe Rd. SW, with The Rev. Harold L. Trout, SSC, Vicar officiating. Cremation will follow services.
