SANTIAGO -- John Santiago, age 69, beloved and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle was called home to Our Heavenly Father on Sunday, January 23, 2005 surrounded by his loving family. John was a member of our Lady of Belen Church. He loved hunting with his sons and grandkids. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Dolores; his children, Carolyn, Robert, Steve, and Gino; 12 grandchildren; sisters, Cecilia Durham and Francis Barragon; many nieces, nephews, godchildren, friends; and his beloved dog, Tuffy. A viewing will be held at Romero Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, January 25, 2005 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. followed by a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church on Wednesday, January 26, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jacob Romero, Anthony Santiago, Jason Romero, Steven Santiago, Jeffrey Santiago, and Wilfred Gonzales. Alternate pallbearers will be Paul Durham, Chris Perea, and Larry Santiago. Honorary pallbearers will be Cassandra Santiago and Alexis Santiago. Romero Funeral Home, 609 N. Main St., Belen.
