EARICKSON -- Shirley A. Earickson, 85, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on January 1, 2005. Ms. Earickson was a native New Mexican, born in Las Vegas, the daughter of James and Katherine Earickson. She earned a Bachelor degree in History from the University of New Mexico and spent her entire career at UNM, her last position as the Assistant Dean of the Graduate School. She enjoyed painting and walking in her spare time and was especially fond of birds and animals. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be scheduled at a later date.
