GARDNER -- Manuel O. Gardner, age 37, was called home Saturday, December 18, 2004. He was preceded in death by his parents, Felix and Corrine Gardner, and a brother, Sam Gardner. Manuel is survived by his son, Manuel Jr.; brother, Alvie Gardner; and many aunts, uncles, and special cousins. We would like to thank his caretakers, Rito "Junior" and Melissa Flores, and many family and friends who loved and will miss him dearly. Viewing and services will be held Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5311 Phoenix Ave. NE. on Thursday, December 23, 2004. The viewing will begin at 8:30 am, followed by the Rosary being recited at 9:30, concluded with the celebration of the Funeral Mass at 10:00 am. The graveside service will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery on Friday, December 24, 2004 at 11:00 am. Pallbearers will be Rito "Junior" Flores, David "Ziggy" Gonzales, Mark Lucero, Ceasar Alarcon, Fabien Rodriguez, and Paul Marquez.
