CORRIZ -- Belia Erlinda Corriz, age 69, beloved mother, grandmother, and sister was called home by our Heavenly Father, Friday, December 17, 2004. Belia was born in Marquez, NM and raised in Alameda, NM; she was currently living in Bosque Farms, NM. She was preceded in death by her husband Sundy Corriz in 1997. Belia is survived by her loving children, Laurence Corriz, Coeli Garcia and husband Fred; a daughter-in-law, Yvette Garcia; her precious grandchildren, Michiel, Coeli Marie, and Sundy Rae Corriz; one great-grandson, Matthew Corriz. Also surviving are three brothers, Antonio, Eloy, and Rudy Romero; five sisters, Mary Baldonado, Della Montoya, Jennifer Medina, Nancy McRae, and Rita Calderon; numerous nieces, nephews, and other beloved family members and friends. Belia will be greatly missed by her loving family. Ms. Corriz will lie in state Sunday from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church; where a Rosary will be recited at 5:00 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 9:00 a.m. also at the church. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Sundy Rae Corriz, Dennis Corriz, David Corriz, Michael Montoya, Randy Calderon, and Dominic Kettridge.
