ADAIR -- Bert Adair, age 81, a resident of Belen, NM, passed away on December 10, 2004. Bert was born in Chicago, IL and was raised in Quincy, IL. Bert enlisted in the Army Air Corps in 1943, was stationed in England, serving in the 8th Air Force during WWII. Bert served for 20 years in the Air Force and retired as Chief Master Sergeant. Bert was a member of the Shriners. He enjoyed and colleted model trains and old cars and was a member of the Mustang Club. Bert was also a member of the 8th Air Force Historical Society. Bert is preceded in death by his parents, Agnes Miller Adair and Bert Adair, Sr. He is survived by his wife, Armeda June Deatherage Adair; daughter, Robin Adair; granddaughters, Erin Molly, Kourtney Kelley; grandson, Joshua David Hodges; son, Thomas Scott Adair and his wife, Lisa; granddaughters, Delilah Maria Adair, Alex Sandra Kayle Adair, Zoey Ann Adair; her son Daniel Patrick Adair and his wife, Melonie; daughter, Melissa Ann Brown and her husband, Paul and a granddaughter, Abigail June Brown.
