FORD -- Bessie Mae Ford, 98, a resident of Rio Rancho since 1991, and coming from Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on Friday, December 3, 2004. Bessie was born August 18, 1906, the daughter of John Henry and Ella Rush in Kansas City, Missouri. She had been a secretary in the insurance business, working for the State Mutual Assurance Company in Kansas City, Missouri for 25 years, retiring at age 65. Bessie was a lifelong member of the Daughters of Isabel, and a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Paul Ford; brother, Hugh Rush; and sister, Ella Larson. She is survived by two nephews, Dan Larson of Overland Park, KS and Larry Larson and wife Carol of Rio Rancho, NM; and many grand-nieces and grand-nephews. The Rosary will be recited for Bessie at 10:00 am with the Mass of Resurrection being celebrated at 10:30 am today, Tuesday, December 7, 2004 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Rd., Rio Rancho.
