HETSCHEL -- Sara E. Hetschel, 79, a resident of Albuquerque since 1967, died Friday, November 12, 2004. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Albert W. Hetschel of Albuquerque; son, Jeffery W. Hetschel and wife, Deborah of Mission Viejo, CA; grandchildren, Daniel Paul Hetschel, Nicole Mary Hetschel, and Alyssa J. Hetschel; sisters, Betty Bresh and husband, Paul of Ft. Meyers, FL and Judy Holzer and husband, Michael of Wauconda, IL. Mrs. Hetschel was born and raised in Taylorville, IL. In 1946, she graduated from Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in Springfield, IL She was an Air Force veteran serving in the Nurse Corps where she met and married her husband in 1953. She worked in many hospitals thorough out Albuquerque during her career. Mrs. Hetschel was a member of Eastern Star. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be missed deeply by her family. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held Tuesday, 16, 2004, 1:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE.
