VORHEES -- Dorothy Lawrey Vorhees passed away in Albuquerque, NM on October 5, 2004. She was born on September 12, 1915 in Cleveland, Ohio. Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Harold Vorhees. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Wendy and John Lippold. Dorothy was a well-known local watercolor artist, a member of the Chi Omega Sorority, a graduate of Ohio University, and was very active in the art community. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Kanab, Utah. Memorial Services will be officiated by Rev. Trey Hammond at La Mesa Presbyterian Church located at 7401 Copper Ave. NE, on Monday, October 11, 2004 at 11:00 am. Internment will be at the Knollwood Cemetery in Cleveland, Ohio.
