GUTIERREZ -- Rose Gutierrez, 74, a lifelong resident of Cuba, NM, died on August 22, 2004. She is survived by her husband, Gilbert Gutierrez, formerly of Cuba; two sons, Waldo Gutierrez of Rio Rancho and Gary Gutierrez and wife, Elaine of Albuquerque; three daughters, Joann Baca and husband, Ray of Bernalillo, Sally Maestas of Albuquerque, and Kelly Garcia of Rio Rancho; 20 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter; four sisters, Romie Martinez of Cuba, Dora Chavez of Kingman, AZ, Sadie Moore and husband, Ken of Clovis, NM, and Emma Naranjo of Albuquerque; brother, Joe Pena of Reedley, CA. She is preceded in death by her two sons, James Gutierrez and Gilbert Gutierrez Jr.; three sisters; and two brothers. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church in Cuba, NM with Father John Boland, celebrant. Burial will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. Pallbearers will be Vince Bernal, Jared Gutierrez, Adriel Garcia, Joey Gallegos, Duane Arellano, and Eric Montoya.
