GOMEZ -- Carmelita E. Gomez, "Carmen," went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, August 21, 2004. She was born September 18, 1953 to Mary Lou Padilla-Gomez and Fred Gomez. Carmen is survived by four sisters, Debra Gomez, Jackie Redmond and husband, Bruce, Yvette Moya and husband, Louie, Celeste Maes and husband, Michael; two brothers, Matthew Gomez and wife, Angie, Jaime Gomez and wife; three nieces, Marquita, Elena, and Amalia; four nephews, Alejandro, Jonathon, DeRozario, and Sebastian. A memorial service will held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1860 Griegos NW. in the Parish Hall on Tuesday, August 24, 2004 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Arrangements by Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th ST.
