PADILLA -- Adelena S. Padilla, age 83, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, was gently lifted into the arms of our Heavenly Father, Tuesday, August 17, 2004, while surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Belen, NM to the late Gregorio and Eutimia Silva on July 17, 1921. She was a resident of Albuquerque and a member of the Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Julia Montano; a son, Jimmy Padilla; and brothers and sisters. Adelena is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Ramon Padilla of the family home; her precious sons, Rudy Padilla and wife, Martha, Pat Padilla and wife, Carmen, and Eddie Padilla, all of Albuquerque; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, Louis Silva and wife, Billie of Belen, NM and Henry Silva of Kingman, AZ.; nieces; nephews; and other beloved family members and friends. Adelena will be greatly missed by her loving family. Visitations will be Friday, August 20, 2004, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Alameda Mortuary. A Rosary will be recited Friday evening at 7:30 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 309 Stover Ave., SW. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, August 21, 2004 at 8:30 a.m. also at Sacred Heart Church. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Sammy Montano, Robert Padilla, Leo Chavez, Ray Padilla, Tony Silva, and Steven Silva. Honorary bearers will be Jerry Chavez, Michael Chavez, Frankie Jaramillo, Larry Trujillo, and Joe Montoya. Funeral services are entrusted to: Alameda Mortuary 9420 4th Street, NW 898-3160
