DELIEN -- Maxima (Maxie) DeLien, age 83 and a resident of Albuquerque for 34 years, passed away on Wednesday August 18, 2004 in a local hospital following an illness. Mrs. DeLien was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Horace DeLien, who died in March, 1991. She is survived by brothers: Wilfrido and wife, Teresita David of Albuquerque, Atilano and wife, Rosa David of Albuquerque, Ireneo and wife, Apolonia David, and Adriano and wife, Zenaida David of Manila, Philippines; and sister, Anita and husband, Emmanuel Galang of Quezon City, Philippines; step-daughter, Luz DeLien: and several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews; and great-grand-nieces and -nephews. A visitation will be held Thursday August 19, 2004 from 5-9 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Fitzgerald and Son. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday August 20, 2004 at 9:00 a.m. in St. Bernadette's Catholic Church, 11401 Indian School Rd NE with Fr. Tom Zotter, celebrant. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 11:30 a.m. Services are under the direction of: Fitzgerald & Sons Funeral Directors 3113 Carlisle Blvd. NE 884-1188
