RICHARDSON -- Katharine L. Richardson, beloved mother, sister and grandmother, passed away on August 14, 2004. Katharine was born on June 27, 1920 to Hobart and Florence Sinard in Arkansas. Prior to retirement, Katharine owned and operated her own hardware store. She especially loved playing bridge and belonged to many different card clubs. Katharine was preceded in death by her husband William (Bill) Richardson in 1995. She is survived by her daughters, Pat Obst of Denver, CO, and Sandy Greenwood of Rio Rancho; her sisters, Lula Lounsberry, Betty Jo. Samuelwicz and Virginia Radovich, all of California; seven grandchildren, Patrick, Billy and Adam Greenwood, Elizabeth, Chris and Susie Obst and Mamie Colwell and seven great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Cremation has taken place and private family services will be held at the Rose Garden at Vista Verde Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 4004 Carlisle NE, Albuquerque, NM 87101, or the American Cancer Society, 5800 Lomas Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110.
