GAYNOR -- Joseph Patrick Gaynor, 84, born in Lambertville, NJ on October 23, 1919 to parents Joseph Aloysius Gaynor and Sarah Masten Gaynor, died on Thursday, August 12, 2004. Joseph, a resident of Albuquerque since 1953, is survived by his wife of 60 years, Agnes Gaynor; sons, Dennis Gaynor and wife Becky of Albuquerque, and Jim Gaynor and wife Toni of Albuquerque; daughters, Kathy Brady of Portland, OR, Joan Gaynor of Torrance, CA, and Patricia Lloyd and husband Brian of Torrance, CA; grandchildren, Christopher Gaynor, Michael Gaynor and wife Sheri, Lauren Lloyd, Joseph Lloyd, Mathew Gaynor, and Rahanon Elsen; and great-granddaughter, Felicia Elsen. Joseph's surviving sisters are Anna Monaghan of New Hope, PA, Joan Scott of Lambertville, NJ, and Sally McConnell of New Hope, PA. Joseph was preceded in death by his sister Margaret Kooker and his brothers John Gaynor and Donald Gaynor. Joseph was a WWII veteran where he served in the Army Air Corps as a Lieutenant and a Captain in the Air Corps Reserve. He worked as a Group Manager at Sandia National Laboratory for 29 years and retired in 1982. Joseph was fully dedicated to his beloved wife and family. Our families have been blessed and enriched by his love, faith, wisdom, and sense of humor. He lived his life to the fullest and loved to read, cook, play golf, and travel to Spain with his wife, Agnes. Joseph was a member of Our Lady of Annunciation Catholic Church. Rosary will be recited on Monday, August 16, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel. Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 17, 2004 at 8:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Annunciation Catholic Church, 2621 Vermont NE. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Friends may visit French Mortuary on Monday, August 16, 2004 from 6-7 p.m. French Mortuary 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE 823-9400
