JONES -- Amelia Rose Jones, 3, went home to be with God on August 10, 2004. Amelia was diagnosed six weeks ago with Glioblastoma Multiforme, which is a grade 4-brain tumor. She was at home surrounded with the people and things she loved most. She is survived by her parents, Richard and Misty Jones; big brother, Matt Jones; grandparents, Molly (Mammaw) Bazan, Andy Garcia, Joyce and Bill Leonards, and Harold and Linda Jones; great-grandparents, Lucy Bazan, John Bazan, Gloria Mena, and Gen Watkins; uncles and aunts, Tio Nino Carlos and Tia Nina Stephanie Garcia, Darla and Chris Henderson, Robert Jones, and Harold Jones, Jr.; cousins, Alexia, Jackie, Josh, Spencer, Kit, Kristin, and Austin; numerous great-aunts, -uncles, and cousins. In Amelia's 40 months, 3 days, and 35 minutes here on earth, she has touched so many people's lives. She was truly an Angel amongst us. Service will be held on Friday, August 13, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John's United Methodist Church, 2626 Arizona NE, with Pastor John E. Schwarting officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Carlos Garcia, Robert Jones, Chris Henderson, and Harold Jones Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Dennis Bazan, Leroy Bazan, J.R. Bazan, David Bazan, John Bazan, Merissa Bazan, LeeAnn Bazan, and Jerome Garcia.
