LOPEZ -- Gloria Mascarenas Lopez, 74, went home to be with the Lord on August 10, 2004. She was born on November 1, 1929 in Telluride, CO. Gloria is survived by her husband, Lorenzo Lopez; her son, Joe Mascarenas Jr. and wife, Veronica; daughters, Mary Lou Peralta and husband, Thomas, Mary Ann Mascarenas and Catalino Martinez and Cathy Pohl and husband, Michael; brothers, Joe Rivera and Pete Lovato and wife, Leonora; sisters, Mela Valdez and Vangie Turrietta; ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Gloria will be deeply missed by her loving family. Visitations will be held on Thursday, August 12, 2004 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Garcia Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday morning, August 13, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Johnny Ray Pohl, Joe Ray Mascarenas, Joseph Mascarenas, Jim Bertsch, Gavino Lopez and Johnny Lopez.
