KUCK -- Larry J. Kuck, a long time resident of Raton, passed away on Monday, August 9, 2004 following a long illness. He is survived by his daughter, Dana R. Kuck of Albuquerque; three brothers, Lonn Kuck and wife, Ann of Idaho, Lyle Kuck and companion, Tonie Urban of Santa Fe, and Loren Kuck and wife, Tammy of North Carolina; and three nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ike and Aileen Kuck. Retired from a job he truly enjoyed, Larry was a hydraulic engineer with the U.S. Geological Survey. He was rarely seen without his canine companion, Vicky. An avid wood carver, he won numerous ribbons for his work from the New Mexico State Fair. Services will be held on Friday, August 13, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel.
