ELLSWORTH -- Elanora May Ellsworth (nee Malcolm), age 76, died peacefully on Wednesday, August 4, 2004 in Albuquerque, NM after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's disease. She was born on March 24, 1928 in Mexia, TX to William and Lola (Ethel) Malcolm and raised in Killeen, TX. She married Truman John Ellsworth on September 11, 1953 in Waco, TX where Truman was serving in the United States Army. They chose to settle in Albuquerque, NM in 1959, where they raised their children Ronald, Byron, Judy and Susan. She worked for 25 years at the Albuquerque National Bank (presently Bank of America) where she started as a Kelly Girl and retired in Real Estate contracts. A devoted daughter, wife and mother, she cared for her husband and mother until their deaths. Elanora is preceded in death by her parents, William and Ethel of Killen TX; husband, Truman; brother, Robert Malcolm of Texas; stepdaughter, Karen Nichols of Pueblo West, CO; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Glen and Velma Ellsworth of Yuma, CO. Elanora is survived by stepson, Richard Ellsworth and his wife, Pearl of Meeker, CO, son, Ronald and his fiancee, Brandee Rink of Harrisville, MI, son, Byron of Rio Rancho, NM; daughter, Judy Mark of White Bear Lake, MN, and daughter, Susan Ellsworth and her husband, Carl C. Profazi, DDS of Albuquerque, NM; also surviving are grandchildren, Becky Proctor of Loveland, CO, Daniel Ellsworth of Stewartsville, NJ, David, Paula, and Sarah Ellsworth of Rio Rancho, NM, Edward Beierlein and Eric Mark of White Bear Lake, MN, Christopher and Nicholas Norris of Albuquerque, NM, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends who will miss her dearly. Visitation will be Saturday August 7, 2004 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Fitzgerald & Son Funeral Directors. Funeral Services will be held on Monday August 9, 2004 at 10:30 am at Fitzgerald & Son Funeral Directors. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:00 p.m., where she will be laid to rest with her husband.
