BRADBURN -- Carolyn Irene Bradburn, 59, our loving Mother, passed away to the Lord on Friday, July 23, 2004. Our Mother's sudden and unexpected death will be deeply mourned by her family; daughter, Lori Bradburn-Alderete; son-in-law Gino Alderete; son, Matthew Bradburn; granddaughter, Sophia Estrada Bradburn; mother, Etta Irene Bruner; brother, John Harper; and little dog, Nick. Carolyn dedicated her life to her children, who always came first, as well as family and friends. She was a registered nurse and worked many years at UNM Mental Health Center, helping the mentally ill. Carolyn also worked at Presbyterian Hospital in the O.R. Her final employment, before her stroke in 1999, was with Charter Heights Hospital helping people with drug and alcohol addictions. Carolyn will be missed by many. She would want us to be strong and keep our faith that she is with God now. A rosary/wake will be held at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 28, 2004 and a Funeral Mass at 9:00 a.m., Thursday July 29, 2004.
