AUSTIN -- Edward (Steve) Austin, age 59, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2004. He was born on August 27, 1944 in Albuquerque, NM. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Patricia; daughters, Jolene Anaya and husband, SSG Anaya, Nick of Killeen, TX, Sally Lindsey and husband, Pat of Corona, CA; sons, Joshua Austin of Albuquerque, NM, Steve Austin and Mark Austin of CA; parents, Aurora and Gilbert Delgado of Las Vegas, NM and Eddie Austin of Albuquerque, NM; mother-in-law, Betty Cochran; two sisters, Priscilla Lesperance and Margaret Higbee; three brothers, Glenn Delgado, Everett Delgado and Jerry Delgado. He was preceded in death by two brothers, David Austin and Peter Delgado; and stepmother, Mercy Austin. He has six grandchildren: Justin Austin, Patrick, Ryan, and Taylor Lindsay, Angelica and Shania Anaya; several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. Viewing will be held Friday, July 23, 2004 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Fitzgerald & Son Funeral Directors. Celebration of Life Services will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at Carlisle Plaza United Methodist Church, 3023 Montclaire Drive NE, Albuquerque, NM. Services to be held by Pastor Sheri Lyon. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Heart Association or Carlisle Plaza Methodist Church.
