SANDOVAL -- Derrick Allen Sandoval, age 16, passed away suddenly on Sunday, July 18, 2004 from a tragic automobile accident. He was born on August 20, 1987 and was quite a talented artist. He is survived by his mother, Jenny Rubio and his father, Damacio Archuleta; grandparents, Maria Sandoval and Catarino Cardona and Anthony and Virginia Archuleta; three brothers, Donovan Sandoval, Matthew and Dominic Archuleta; uncle, Gilbert and wife, Jennifer Sandoval; uncle Anthony and wife, Maggie Archuleta; uncle, James Archuleta and aunt, Angela Archuleta; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends that loved him dearly. Pallbearers will be: Matthew Archuleta, Dominic Archuleta, Donovan Sandoval, Adrian Marrufo, Anthony Archuleta, James Archuleta, and Jacob Turrietta. Derrick was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all and will never be forgotten. A Memorial Rosary in Loving Memory of Derrick will be recited at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church located at 1818 Coal Place, SE, Alb., NM on Wednesday, July 21, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church on Thursday, July 22, 2004 at 9:30 a.m., with Interment to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
