MAGEE -- Charles David, born September 16, 1937, left his family to go to a pain-free hereafter. Charles leaves his two loving sons, Steve Magee and his son, Justin Magee; also Ron Magee, his wife, Zoe and their son, Reed Magee; one brother Huey Magee, and wife, Jo. Charles was born and raised in Springfield and Ponchatoula, Louisiana. In 1956 he married his childhood neighbor and playmate, Pat Magee, who remained his friend after divorce. Charles retired from the USAF, his family traveling with him, except for his time served in Vietnam. He then worked for and retired from Ross Aviation. He loved to swim and dive, played football and softball, and was an archer. In later years he enjoyed hot air ballooning and golfing, especially with his sons. Rheumatoid Arthritis took all these activities. You will be missed. Services and Burial will be at Santa Fe National Cemetery on Thursday, June 24, 2004 at 3:00 p.m. Friends are invited.
