DUNIVAN -- George R. Dunivan, 77, a resident of Albuquerque since 1960, died Thursday, June 3, 2004. He is survived by his wife, Donna of the family home; his son, Michael Dunivan and wife, Rosemary; his daughter, Margaret Ann Dunivan; six grandchildren Todd Dunivan and wife, Kimberly, Stacy Stone and husband, Robert; Kevin Dunivan and wife, Gena; Connie Wattenburger, Brad Wattenburger; great-grandchildren, Alex Dunivan, Aaron Dunivan, Kayte Dunivan, Amanda Stone and Clayton Wattenburger. George was a retired executive of the United Food and Commercial Workers Union and Amalgamated Meat Cutters and Butchers Workmen of North America. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. George was a lifetime member of the Elks Club #461, TTO Train and other numerous organizations. He was awarded the J. B. McCoy Labor Award, Histadrut Perpetual Award, Outstanding Citizen Award in Missouri and New Mexico and Colonel Aide de Camp for the state of New Mexico. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE Sunday from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Followed by a Rosary to be recited Sunday, June 6, 2004 at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Services will Monday, June 7, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Johns United Methodist Church, 2626 Arizona NE.
