OLSON -- Phillip Carl Olson, 73, a resident of New Mexico since 1966, died Tuesday, May 25, 2004. He is survived by daughters, Kimberly Olson, Linda Orton and husband, Mark, and Tonja McMullan and husband, Richard, all of Albuquerque; son, Troy Olson and wife, Leigh, of Aurora, CO; grandchildren, Stephanie, Justin, Victoria and Montana; and nieces, Kathy, Beth, Cindy, and Lynn. He was preceded in death by his son, Nicholas John Olson, parents, Carl and Inga Olson, brother John and sisters, Carol and Jo Ann and nephew, Joe Taubert. Mr. Olson was born in Minneapolis, MN on Tuesday, November 1, 1930. He graduated from Wisconsin State University in LaCrosse with a BS in Economics and History. He married Beverly in 1959 and moved to NM in 1966. Mr. Olson worked at Holloman, Kirtland and Kelly AFBs as a Management Analyst with D.O.D. He retired to Cedar Crest in 1991. Mr. Olson was an Eagle Scout and loved fishing, camping and boating. Cremation has taken place and private family services will follow.
