BROWN -- Edward "Brownie" Brown, 76, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, died Saturday, May 8, 2004. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Mary Lou; daughters Marie Keller and husband, Jim, of Ruidoso, Saundra Miller and husband, Edwin, and Patricia Brown, all of Albuquerque; grandchildren Anthony DeHart, Corey DeHart, Erika Miller, and Preston Frazier; great-grandchildren Cineva and Julian; sister, Louisa Dimas; brother, Robert Brown and wife, Gloria; sister, Josie Savage and husband, Dave, and numerous other family members. Edward served his country as a U.S. Marine during World War II. He owned and operated Brownie Electric and Construction Company. He was a member of El Buen Samaritano United Methodist Church and the Masonic Lodge, Mesa #68. A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, University Chapel, 1111 University Blvd NE. Funeral services will be Thursday, , 2:00 p.m. at El Buen Samaritano United Methodist Church, 700 Granite NW. Friends may visit on Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. at the University Chapel.
