UNGER -- Harry R. Unger, 73, a resident of Albuquerque since 1984, died Saturday, May 1, 2004. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Carol Unger of Albuquerque; sons, Donald Unger and wife, Sally of Nottingham, PA and Rodney Unger of Quarryville, PA; daughter, Alice Spangler and husband, Glen of Quarryville, PA; son, Jeffrey Unger and wife, Mary of Quarryville, PA; daughter, Sandra Ansteth and husband, Art of Twentynine Palms, CA; stepsons, Michael Wetherholt and wife, Janice of Edgewood, MD and Chris Wetherholt of Boulder, CO; stepdaughters, Kathy Scerni and husband, Mike of Wilmington, DE and Barbara Bias and husband, Jim of Barboursville, WV ; 14 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. After retirement from the US Navy on May 16, 1967, he worked as a butcher and also as a sheet metal worker. He and Carol were founders and owners of Tour New Mexico and did tour groups locally and in Santa Fe. Services will be held Wednesday, May 5, 2004, 1:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE. Cremation to follow services. Interment of cremated remains will take place, Friday, May 7, 2004, 11:00 a.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, one hour prior to service.
