TIBBETTS -- Kenneth W. Tibbetts, 75, a resident of Belen, passed away on March 25, 2004. He was a retired Sr. Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force. Kenneth was born on February 5, 1929 in Rockland, Massachusetts. He married Billie June Lockhart on October 3, 1947. After retiring from the U.S. Air Force in 1967 he and Billie June moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico for several years before moving to Stonewall, Colorado where they were members of the Stonewall Community Church, until they moved to Belen, New Mexico in 2002. Kenneth was a loving and dedicated husband and father. He is survived by his wife of fifty-six years, Billie June of Belen; two daughters, Judy and her husband, Doug Pollard, Diana and her husband, Bruce Westendorf; one son, Jerry Tibbetts and his wife, Tara; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. All of his family would like to thank everyone for their prayers and support especially during these last few weeks.
