DREZ -- Paul Edward Drez, 56, passed away in hospice with family by his side on Saturday, March 20th at 4:30 p.m. Paul was born September 6, 1947 in New Orleans. Paul is survived by his wife, Nancy Drez; daughter, Kathleen Rahman and her husband, JR, of Minneapolis; daughter, Jennifer Kardos and her husband, Joe, of Albuquerque; parents, Peter and Marie Drez of Voorhees, NJ; brother, Pete Drez and his wife, Margie, of New Bern, NC; sister, Marie Werner and her husband, Stan, of Berlin, NJ; Paul and his family moved to Albuquerque in 1986, where he worked as an Environmental Consultant. As hobbies, Paul enjoyed collecting fossils and growing plants. A rosary vigil will be held at Strong-Thorne Mortuary on Wednesday, March 24 at 7:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday March 25, at the Aquinas Newman Center on UNM Campus. Parking will be available in the C-lot & T-lot. The family will hold a private burial on Friday, March 26. Donations can be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, in lieu of flowers.
