MALIN -- Mary Isla "Bones" Malin Born August 15, 1928 in Clayton, New Mexico passed into the loving arms of the Lord on March 3, 2004. She is survived by sons, Greg T. Malin and wife Kathleen of Albany, Oregon; Edward E. Malin and wife Jean of Phoenix, Arizona; Gary F. Malin and wife Barbara of Santa Fe, New Mexico; and Larry G. Malin of Bernalillo, New Mexico. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Albert and Mae Overbay in 1975 and her late husband Glen E. Malin in 1994. "Bones" as she was referred to by her friends and family enjoyed painting and writing poetry. The Malin family would like to express their sincere thanks to Esther Elizondo for her loving care she provided during Mary's illness. The family would also like to thank Henry Elizondo, Enrique, Reyes, Estevan, and Isaiah. The family also thanks Rosella Anaya and all others who were caring for "Bones". Esther and Rosella were Mary's Guardian Angels. Mary always said "These Bones are gonna rise"... they have. A memorial service will held at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel, 901 Menaul NE., on Saturday, March 6, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. Arrangements by Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th ST. NW.
