GUTIERREZ -- Clara L. Gutierrez died Saturday, February 28, 2004. She was born August 9, 1917 in Dacada, WI. She was married to Fortino Gutierrez, now deceased. Clara worked in accounting for the Federal Government until retirement. She was a member of The Shrine of St. Bernadette in Albuquerque and NARFE Duke City Chapter 1411. Clara is survived by her brother, Edward L. Remkus; sister-in-law, Therese Remkus; brothers-in-law, Alejo Gutierrez and wife, Lita, Frank Gutierrez and wife, Marietta, Joseph Gutierrez and Amada Gutierrez; sisters-in-law, Nashie Lujan and husband, Joseph, Katerine Wallace and husband, Jesse, Isabel Gutierrez, Mary Linda Gutierrez and many nieces and nephews. A rosary will be held at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel on Thursday, March 4, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. A mass will take place at The Shrine of St. Bernadette, 11,400 Indian School NE on Friday, March 5, 2004 at 9:00 a.m. Friends may visit French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel on Thursday, March 4, 2004 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
