GALLEGOS -- Mrs. Caroline (Lilly) Vigil Gallegos, 82, a resident of Albuquerque since 1942, passed away on February 16, 2004. Mrs. Gallegos is survived by one daughter, Alicia Joanne Barron; three sons, David Joseph Gallegos and wife, RoseAnne, Jerry Anthony Gallegos and wife, Anita, Gilbert Lee and wife, Angelica; one brother, Candido Vigil and wife, Marie; six grandchildren, Joseph, Celianna, Carlos, Jerry Ray, Steve and Armand; seven great grandchildren, Michael, Katarina, Victoria, Vincent, Francesca, Dante and Rebekka; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Gallegos was preceded in death by her husband, Jose Manuel (Joseph M.) Gallegos and her son, Raymond Eugene. Mrs. Gallegos was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church. She was born in Clayton, NM and graduated from Clayton High School and made her First Communion in Buyeros and was also married in Clayton, N.M. in July, 1943. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the St. Anne Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal SW with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Final visitation will be Friday morning from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. in the Church with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m., Father Daniel Balizan, presider. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Armand Abeyta, Steve Gallegos, Jerry Ray Gallegos, Carlos Gallegos, Robert Vigil and John Vigil.
