BIRO -- Eleanor Biro, age 92, a resident of Albuquerque for 52 years, died Wednesday January 21, 2004. She is preceded in death by her husband Frank Joseph Biro Sr. in 2001. Survivors include daughter Maureen Hodock and husband Joseph, of Albuquerque; son Frank Joseph Biro Jr. of Albuquerque; five grandchildren, Michael Hodock, Stephen Hodock, Katharine Hodock, Analiese Hodock, and John Hodock. Eleanor was a member of the Holy Ghost Catholic Church, and the Alter Rosary Society. A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 25, 2004 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in Palm Chapel of Strong-Thorne Mortuary, Rosary will follow at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 26, 2004 at 8:30 a.m., at Our Lady of Annunciation Church, 2532 Vermont NE., with Fr. Ronald Bruckner celebrant. Interment will be held at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Casa Angelica, 5629 Isleta Blvd. SW Albuquerque, NM 87105.
