LOWE -- Christine (Harless) Lowe, passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2003, in Albuquerque at Northeast Heights Medical Center. She is survived by daughter, Jonna; and grandson, Austin of Albuquerque; sisters, Sue Luther and husband, Bill and Mae Brazfield of Mountainair, New Mexico; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends and customers. Chris was born November 22, 1944, in Socorro County at the Harless Ranch. She grew up and attended school at Mountainair; graduating in 1963. In 1967, she enrolled in barber school in El Paso, Texas, and completed school. In April 1968 she passed the barber exam and was self- employed as a barber for 35 years. Chris was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lucille Harless; sisters, Helen and Pelma: brothers, Buddy and Jimmie. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial will be Sunday, January 25, 2004, at 2:00 p.m. at the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Mountainair, New Mexico.
