GRAY -- Mary Jane Gray. Services are scheduled at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 21, 2004 at First United Methodist Church for Mary Jane Terry Gray, Artesia, New Mexico. Mrs. Gray, 86, died Monday, January 19, 2004 in Artesia. Rev. Paul Duerksen will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons and grandsons-in-law. Mrs. Gray was born May 15, 1917 on a farm in Cottonwood, New Mexico to Thomas Jefferson Terry and Ellen (Montgomery) Terry. On August 17, 1937 she was married to Orval C. Gray in Artesia. He preceded her in death August 27, 1997. She was also preceded in death by brothers Judal Terry and Jack Terry and by sisters Boots Wardlaw and Exa Clayton She was a homemaker and member of First United Methodist Church. Survivors include a son, Bill Gray and wife, LaNette of Artesia; daughters, Terry Jane Ritchie and husband, Jim of Ruidoso, N.M., Glenelle Butler and husband, Gene of Albuquerque, N.M., and Exa Beth Cunningham and husband, Kenneth of Devol, Okla.; sister, Tommie Burnett and husband, Clyde of Roswell, N.M., sister-in-law, Abbie Terry; good friend and caregiver, Mary Salmon of Artesia; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
