JARAMILLO -- Juanita B. Jaramillo, age 87, a resident of Jarales, New Mexico went home to be with the Lord on January 10, 2004. She was born in Casa Colorada on July 12, 1916. Juanita was a member of Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church. She was well known for her biscochitos and her red chile. Her children and her grandchildren were her life and she will be greatly missed by all. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Alejandro Jaramillo in 1997; and her parents, Transito and Ramona Baldonado; two brothers, Daniel Baldonado and Jose Angel Baldonado. Juanita is survived by one brother, Nick Baldonado; one son, Alex Jaramillo and his wife, Jo-Ann of Jarales; five daughters, Reina and her husband, Felix Gallegos, Lucy and her husband, Bennie Urtiaga all of Belen; Margie and her husband, Joe Sanchez and Mary Ann Romero all of Albuquerque; Mary Lou and her husband, Andy Dimas of Santa Fe. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren. A viewing will be held on Sunday, January 11, 2004 at 5:30pm followed by a Rosary at 6:00pm at Romero Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, January 12, 2004 at 1:00pm at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Belen Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Felix Gallegos, Joey and David Sanchez, John, Ronnie and Raymond Jaramillo. Romero Funeral Home, 609 N. Main St., Belen.
