GARDNER -- Felix M. Gardner, age 62, beloved and devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother, was called home by our heavenly Father, Wednesday, January 7, 2004. Felix was a resident of Albuquerque; a was a chef and professional welder; he retired from Albuquerque Public Schools.. He was a parishioner of Santaurio de San Martin Church; a very active member of the Knight of Columbus, he was Warden in District 15; a Charter Member of the Fr. Alfred Trudeau Council, the office he held was Chancellor and Duty Grand Knight; he later joined the Fr. Carl Hammer Council and office held was Warden, Duty Grand Knight and Lector; he was a member of the Albuquerque Major Degree Team, Color Corps Commander of the Fr. A.M. Mandalari Assembly #0682 4th Degree Knights of Columbus. Felix will always be remembered as a kind, giving and caring man. He will be greatly missed by his loving family, his Brother Knights and friends. Felix is survived by his loving wife Patricia (Pat) Gardner of the family home; two sons, Manuel Gardner and Alvie Gardner; his precious grandchildren; three brothers, Robert Gardner, Albert Cordova, Marcelino Cordova; two sisters, Nellie Sherman, Pablita Abeyta and husband David; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and a host friends. Visitations will be held Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. followed by a rosary at 9:30 a.m. at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5310 Claremont NE; where the Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Entombment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Jose Garner, Joe Austin, Joe Pozzi, Francisco Gomez, Ramon Barela, Leo Pilat, and Chuck Canham. Honorary bearers will be all the New Mexico Knights of Columbus, Brother Knights. Funeral services are entrusted to: Alameda Mortuary 9420 4th Street NW 898-3160
