MCLEAN -- Merle McLean, 88, a resident of Albuquerque since 1936 died on Monday, December 29, 2003. Merle was a loving mother and a devoted Christian. She was a member of the Northeast Church of Christ. She preceded in death by husband Jack; two brothers; one sister; and 2 grandchildren. Survivors include one daughters, Linda Williams; one son, Jack McLean and wife, Mary, all of Albuquerque, NM; two sisters, Wynell Ginbey of Albuquerque NM, and Margie White and husband, Jim, of CA; five grandchildren, DeeDee Jones and husband, Paul, Tim McLean, Michelle Garcia and husband Hector, Kelly Kapela, Sandie Esther and husband, Nick; six great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Friday, January 2, 2003 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Fitzgerald & Son Funeral Directors. Services will take place on Saturday, January 3, 2003 in the chapel of Fitzgerald & Sons Funeral Directors, with Mr. John Phillis officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a memorial contribution can be made to the Albuquerque Christian Children Home, 5700 Winter Haven Rd. NW, Albuquerque NM or to the Life Line of Hope, 1492 Laurel Valley Rd., Kalespell, Montana 59901.
