ORTEGA-SCHLENKER -- Louise Ortega, formerly known as Louise Schlenker, beloved sister, aunt and great-aunt, passed away December 16, 2003. Louise is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Esther and J.B. Bostic; her brother and his wife, Lloyd and Velma Ortega; 12 nieces and nephews; numerous great-nieces and nephews; and by her dear friends, Louisa Garcia and "The BB Girls." Louise lived a full life and was a successful businesswoman. She will always be remembered for having a heart of gold, for her "Zingers" at Christmas time, and for always wanting to go eat because she was always "starved." Rosary will be recited Friday, December 19, 2003, 7:30 p.m. at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel. Mass will be celebrated Saturday, December 20, 2003, 9:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 833 Arizona St. SE, with Father Thomas Mayefske, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Shelia Grant, Karl Chavez, Melvin Marquez, Lloyd Ortega Jr., Candace Post, and Tre Bostic.
